Job Description
In summary, candidates who have strong motor control hardware and basic software knowhow coupled with a lab savvy capability will be considered with priority. Strong motor control hardware knowledge is a must.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters +5 years of working experience in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, specializing in Motor Control Hardware
- Ideal candidates are highly knowledgeable and savvy in Brushless DC motor controls, AC motors, sensor and sensor-less based, particularly in Field Oriented Control, with strong hardware support capabilities.
- Understanding of Control Theory or motor tunings will be highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge in schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout.
- Hands on in lab work for debugging circuits, prototyping boards, and building demos.
- Knowledge of Stepper and Brushed motors system designs/applications is a plus.
- Knowledge in ARM based Micro Controller programming is a plus.
- Understanding of analog and mixed signal semiconductors such as DC/DC and AC/DC Power Management ICs, Power MOSFETs, IGBT, Transistors, Gate Driver, OpAmp, ADC, DAC, Voltage Reference, and Inverter Circuits, etc is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual and is able to get the job done with minimum supervision.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
