Job Summary:

We are actively seeking State Tested Nurse Aides (STNAs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an STNA at our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will hold a valid State Tested Nurse Aide certification in Ohio, and their responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and contributing to the overall well-being of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Provide compassionate and personalized care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents.

Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning of residents.

Vital Signs Monitoring:

Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly.

Report any abnormalities or changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.

Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.

Document any changes in residents' conditions and report to the nursing staff.

Safety and Infection Control:

Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Follow established safety protocols and report any potential hazards.

Qualifications:

State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) Certification in Ohio.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as an STNA in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Ability to follow care plans and work well within a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced healthcare environment.

Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients when necessary.
