Senior Project Engineer: Pittsburgh, PA | Norristown, PA
Total Engineering & Consulting Services, LLC (TEC) is seeking an experience Senior Project Engineer to join our teams in either Pittsburgh, PA or Norristown, PA. As a Senior Project Engineer with TEC, you will lead and deliver projects in the water, wastewater, gas, and telecommunications sectors.
Responsibilities:
Strengthening relationships with our existing clients and industry partners, as well as developing new relationships to help grow TEC both locally and regionally.
Serve as liaison between the Client and TEC to ensure the financial success and technical excellence.
Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, service agreements, and estimates.
Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants, and clients.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight working with a diverse project team of project managers, engineers, designers, technical staff, and sub-consultants to successfully deliver complex and multi-faceted projects on time and on budget for our clients.
Facilitate, prepare, and deliver engineering reports, construction/inspection documents, studies, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates in the design of public and private infrastructure projects with an emphasis in underground utilities.
Analyze and develop design solutions utilizing trenchless and rehabilitation technologies.
Participate in client/firm interviews and presentations.
Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate design activities to ensure construction will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
Influence team throughout the entire project to successfully deliver complex and multi-faceted projects on time and on budget for our clients.
Oversee all field work as required to meet project requirements.

Qualifications:
Professional Engineering License required.
Professional registration in Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain reciprocity
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
10-15 years of experience in the utility design or equivalent
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or GIS is preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or related field
Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.)
Communication, technical writing, and presentation experience
