     POSITION:                   Part-Time Human Resources Generalist  

    REPORTING TO:          Chief Executive Officer 

    LOCATION:                  Montgomery County Area

    ROLE SUMMARY 

    Total HR is currently seeking Part-time Human Resources Generalists to join our team.  In this Part-Time position, the Human Resources Generalist may provide a mix of on-site client interaction and virtual HR support.  This position reports to Total HR Leadership and has full back-office HR support while being responsible for the administration and coordination of the Human Resources (HR) activities on-site with the client organization, including but not limited to, compiling and maintaining employee files, conducting employee orientation, and providing assistance in activities related to recruitment and selection, policy development, regulatory compliance, and limited employee relations.

    The HR Generalist is responsible for all new-hire on-boarding and will assist with various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel. The HR Generalist maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. The HR Generalist works closely with all members of the client organization, executing company-wide HR initiatives. 

    The successful candidate will be comfortable and experienced in a HR office environment with a high degree of confidentiality.  He/she will possess the professionalism, sense of urgency, and attention to detail, required to fulfill this HR role. 

    EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

    ·         Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – in Human Resources or related discipline, PHR preferred

    ·         Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of related HR experience

    ·         Knowledge of current employment laws and practices and HR policies and procedures

    ·         2 – 4 years Recruitment experience 

    QUALIFICATIONS  

    ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    ·         Experience with HRIS applications and PR systems

    ·         Highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic

    ·         Must be able to interact with all levels within the organization

    ·         Exhibit a very high degree of confidentiality at all times

    ·         Effective oral and written communication skills

    ·         Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

    ·         Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

    ·         Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
