We are looking for a process-driven and experienced painter to join our team. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses to perform interior and exterior paint jobs, including touch-ups on old paint, filling in drywall holes, and mixing paint colors. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, is familiar with scaffold assembly, and using hand and power tools, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean space. Responsibilities: • Match and mix paint to job specifications • Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision • Assemble scaffolding when required • Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint • Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer • Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach • Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Qualifications: • Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training • Driver’s license required • Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity • Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred • Preference for candidates with 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship, but not required • You MUST be able to wear a respirator for extended periods of time • You MUST have reliable transportation • Willing to work nights on occasion • Willing to travel • Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail • Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates • High school diploma or GED preferred • Driver’s license required • You MUST complete the DISC assessment, otherwise, you will NOT be considered for the position. Compensation: $19 - $28 hourly
