  • Responsibilities

    You will play a key role in shaping how employees are supported, rewarded, and engaged as the company continues to scale. Initially, this role will be highly execution-focused, establishing structure, processes, and partnerships. Over time, it will evolve into a leadership position with responsibility for building and developing a broader total rewardsfunction.

     

    Key Areas of Responsibility:

    Benefits Administration and Optimization 

    •Oversee health, welfare, and leave programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and well-managed

    •Serve as the primary contact for benefits vendors and brokers

    •Lead annual open enrollment and ongoing benefits communications

    Compensation Framework Development

    •Design and maintain salary structures, incentive programs, and career progression frameworks

    •Support leaders with compensation guidance tied to performance, growth, and retention

    Compliance and Risk Management

    •Ensure programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA

    •Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed

    Employee Communication and Experience

    •Clearly explain rewards programs in a way that is accessible, transparent, and employee-focused

    •Serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating benefits and compensation questions

    Systems, Data, and Cross-Functional Collaboration

    •Maintain data integrity across HRIS and benefits platforms

    •Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and Safety to ensure alignment across systems and processes

    Future Team Leadership

    •As the function grows, recruit, mentor, and manage analysts supporting benefits and compensation administration

    What We’re Looking For:

    •Five or more years of experience in benefits and compensation, including at least two years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role

    •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)

    •Experience supporting field-based or operational organizations preferred

    •Strong Excel skills and experience working within HRIS platforms

    •Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, CEBS, or CCP are highly valued

    •Bilingual English and Spanish capabilities are a plus
