Job Description:

• We are looking for full time and part time spots at all 3 locations!
• In the absence of the lead teacher, the assistant should be able to perform the duties normally performed by the lead teacher.
• Help train and oversee substitutes that work in the classroom.
• Execute and deliver the Tots' Spot Academy curriculum, including daily lesson plans and schedules.
• Establish a positive rapport and maintain good, sound communication with the parents.
• Supervise all activities and to ensure the safety of each child at all times.
• Assist in maintaining an organized classroom arrangement.
• Maintain good working relations with co-workers.
• Participate in a reasonable number of after-hour activities (examples: open houses, staff training, parent conferences, staff meetings, etc.)
• Report to the lead teacher and assistant director; to be evaluated by the director and/or assistant director.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA, TECTA or higher education preferred.
• Previous experience in a child care setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40lbs and engage in physical activity for long periods of time.

Three 2pm-6pm postions

One 9am-6pm postion

One 8am-5pm position
