OVERVIEW
The Sr. Human Resource Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, and training and development. This key leadership role will act as a coach, trusted advisor and partner to the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of HR experience and a strong, progressive track record of success in senior human resources positions. • Bachelors degree required, Human Resources or Business preferred, Spanish as a 2d language preferred. • Must be able to think an act strategically, yet be “hands-on”. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately. • Thorough knowledge of US employment laws and regulations. International experience a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coaching – Acts as a leadership coach to the President and Management Team while enabling the delivery of key business results while acting a gate keeper for our culture. • Resource Management – Develops and delivers our recruitment and brand strategy that attracts top talent to meet the needs of the business. • Succession & Development - Lead succession planning process and talent reviews across the business. Develop strategy for employee training and development and execute the plan in support of business needs. This includes training and development activities for ISO13485 compliance. • Performance Management - Assures the effective implementation of the performance development review process/system at all locations. Provides training and coaching where required to support effective performance management across the business. • Policies & Procedures – Spearhead the implementation and review of policies and procedures and providing ongoing monitoring/measurement of their effectiveness. • Strategy Deployment – Works with the Management Team to support the strategic direction for localization activities including establishing and implementing short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures. • Compensation & Benefits – Working with the Corporate team, implement strategies that effectively attract and retain talent and reward performance within the business.
