• Directing the care and maintenance of gardening and horticulture operations
• Creating and maintaining effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public, using your excellent communication skills

• Demonstrating your attention to detail by maintaining accurate records and making comprehensive reports
• Using your expertise in fertilizing turf, flowers, and trees while monitoring the area for pests and diseases and making recommendations for programs with pesticide consultations
• Preparing schedules

We ask that you have these qualifications:

• Knowledge of horticulture, floriculture, arboricultural, agriculture, and agronomic skills and practices
• Knowledge of administration, management, planning, and maintenance principles and practices of horticultural planting operations
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in horticultural operations
• Ability to perform physical requirements, with or without accommodations, including lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
• Supervision and leadership experience
• Pesticide applicators license (preferred)
• Knowledge of irrigation systems (preferred)
