Tow Motor Operator - 3rd Shift - Operational Sanitation
Shift & Incentives • 3rd Shift: $1.00/hour premium • Attendance Bonus: $1.50/hour • Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 What You’ll Be Doing As a Tow Motor Operator, you play a vital role on the production floor by keeping materials and products flowing where they’re needed most. You’ll operate equipment safely throughout the facility, transport ingredients, move finished goods, and ensure each work area remains stocked and ready to run efficiently. Responsibilities: What You'll Be Doing: As a Tow Motor Operator , you're the engine behind our production floor. You’ll be zooming (safely!) around the facility, delivering ingredients, transporting finished goods, and making sure every station is locked, stocked, and ready to roll. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: • Masterfully operate stand-up and sit-down tow motors, man pickers, rider walkies, and electric hand jacks. • Deliver fresh ingredients to the production lines—because great food starts with great prep. • Move finished product skids to shipping or freezer storage with precision and care. • Set up production areas with exactly what they need (and clear out what they don’t). • Keep your equipment and workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly. • Speak up about safety concerns, damaged goods, or anything that doesn’t look right. • Follow all Safety and Food Safety (GMP) standards—because quality starts with you. • Be a dependable teammate who lives out our Core Values every day. • Jump in where needed—because at Sandridge, no two days are ever the same. Qualifications: What You Bring to the Table: • High school diploma or GED required. • Prior manufacturing experience is a big plus. • Food safety knowledge? Even better. • Hand jack/tow motor skills (certified pros encouraged!). • Basic computer knowledge. • Flexibility to work a variety of production lines and hours. • Comfortable working in cold, wet environments. • Good communication and a can-do attitude. Physical Requirements: • On your feet 8–12 hours a day (we promise it goes fast!). • Bending, lifting (up to 65 lbs), pushing, pulling, squatting, and reaching throughout your shift. • Cold temps and noisy environments don’t faze you. • Solid hand-eye coordination for equipment operation. Compensation: $18.96 - $20.96 hourly
