    SUMMARY

    The HR Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates various HR related duties in supporting the Human Resources department. This position provides administrative support for the following areas including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee records, and training.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Assists in day-to-day operation of Human Resources by administering various HR related functions for all company employees.

    Assist in Recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions: screening, administering pre-employment tests, scheduling interviews, background checks, references, job fairs, college recruiting, and maintaining applicant-tracking system.

    Assists with onboarding, process background checks, performance review process, and the collection and analyzing of data.

    Maintain personnel changes/updates for HRIS/Payroll system

    Assist New Employees with their benefit enrollment

    Assist with Employee Training & Development

    Assist with Payroll & Compliance

    Create and submit quarterly Employee Anniversary Program spreadsheet and track all gift redemption

    Scan, file, maintain employee personnel files and maintain all termed employee files

    Participates in developing departmental goals and objectives

    Special projects as assigned

    Performs other related duties as required

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree in a related area with 2 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience processing payroll and benefits administration.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The employee must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have above-average proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. The employee must project a professional image at all times.
