    Job Description

    DIRECTOR OF REVENUE CYCLE MANAGEMENT

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor the performance of outsourced billing functions. Ensure that tasks are completed properly and timely and that issues are brought to resolution.

    • Analyze the financial performance of the practice using tools such a Power BI and Excel and distill into a clear and engaging presentation that executive leadership can use to craft both short term and long term strategy

    • Proactively research Medicare and commercial payer guidelines to understand how policy changes will impact the business, create plans and identify strategic opportunities.

    • Work directly with providers and staff to implement business strategy, compliance plans, and work-flow improvements

    • Evaluate opportunities for growth and improvement by meeting with both current and potential partners. Present recommendations to CEO and executive leadership

    • Create Pro-forma financials and budgets, compare actual financial data to forecasts, and implement plans to improve financial performance

    • Ensure that all compliance and reporting programs are maintained at a high level including: MIPS, ASC Quality Reporting, and HIPAA

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • A strong understanding of the healthcare industry and revenue cycle management is a requirement for this position.

    • A command of analytical skills and tools such as Excel and Power BI

    • The ability to communicate findings and recommendations based on analysis in a clear and compelling manner

    • Management and leadership skills

    JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES

    • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a business-related field, Healthcare Administration preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be considered

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 7+ years in a healthcare setting in a supervisory capacity for accounts receivable management, billing, and/or coding

    • Coding experience and credentialing such as CPC, CASCC, or CPMA is preferred but not required
