    PATIENT REFERRAL ASSOCIATE/MARKETING ASSOCIATE - LOS ANGELES, CA

    START IMMEDIATELY

    Tower Wound Care ( https://www.towerwoundcare.com/ ) the renowned multi-specialty medical group, is seeking an ambitious and polished associate to support our patient referral growth and community education efforts across our facilities in the Greater Los Angeles region. Our multi-specialty group offers state of the art care to patients, providing advanced wound care services, plastic surgery (cosmetic and reconstructive), and laboratory testing.

    The associate will work within the value system of the company, including prioritizing empathy, accountability, collaboration, and innovation. We are seeking an empathic new team member who possesses an excellent work ethic (independently and in a team), clear communication skills both verbal and written, and is proactive with strong reasoning abilities.

    This position will require both outside and inside sales and marketing. Excellent training, tools, and best practices will be provided, but only those comfortable with in-person sales and working independently should apply.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

    • Develop and articulate a strategic and comprehensive business plan for the assigned territory and manage all sales activities for this territory
    • Conducts daily sales calls to establish new and maintain ongoing business with referral sources in the medical community.
    • Provides updates to referring providers and facilities regarding patient healing status and other relevant developments.
    • Innovate new strategies and produce annual and quarterly marketing plans
    • Validates and develops territory call plans to qualify new and maintain existing accounts to grow the business.
    • Utilize regular marketing and patient referral KPI reports to track performance vs. plan and make adjustments to strategies and tactics as necessary.
    • Reputation management—Work with the reception, administrative, and clinical and managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives based on patient and physician feedback.
    • Understands and communicates to providers and patients regarding Medicare, MediCal, and private payer plans accepted by the practice.
    • Becomes confident in the clinical-operational flow, diagnostics, products, and other advanced therapies utilized by the practice in order to promote and educate the community on the services and outcomes provided by the practice.
    • Performs other related duties as directed by the manager.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Skillful communication and interpersonal prowess—you must be empathic and comfortable with in-person and remote cold-calling to deliver patient progress updates and discuss the advanced treatments we provide.
    • Equally comfortable switching between field-based, administrative, and clinical-operational (but not involving hands-on patient care) with ease.
    • The ability to excel in both working independently and in a team environment.
    • Act as a self-starter, possess the time management skills and capabilities necessary to complete tasks successfully.
    • Creative thinking and analytical skills are a must; this includes developing marketing strategies and solutions to sales barriers

    METRICS AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    • Metrics and performance are expected to be at 100% to quota in new patient referral goals, while also achieving YOY market growth.
    • New patients referred (admissions)
    • New (including recently inactive) referral sources
    • Average referrals per source
    • Referral sources by specialty/care setting
    • Referrals by diagnosis / etiology
    • Appropriate number of field and office-based sales calls daily.
    • Maintain a consistent pipeline of new accounts. Conduct meaningful sales calls with each referral by building relationships, uncovering needs, creating solutions, and asking for the business. Pre and post-call reviews are also to be conducted.
    • All appropriate activity for every customer contact is to be logged in CRM on a daily basis.
    • Field assessment performance (ride-along, etc.)

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors or Associates Degree strongly preferred
    • 1-2 years sales experience, healthcare and/or service sales preferred or have the equivalent combination of education and experience.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or the corresponding Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) solutions.
    • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, professional appearance, and ability to work independently and in a team to deliver results.
    • Ability to handle private and confidential information (including patient and insurance information) securely.
    • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the defined geographical region (mileage + parking reimbursement provided).

    COMPENSATION:

    • At-plan: 50-60% salaried, 40-50% commission
    • Opportunity to exceed six-figure compensation for exceeding plan
