    Fast-paced orthopedic office is looking for an experienced medical receptionist. Must be personable, reliable, a team player, and able to multi-task. EMR knowledge and office experience for at least 1 year is a must! Must be willing to travel between office locations. Work Remotely • No Job Type : Full-time Benefits : • 401(k) • Dental Insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule : • 8-hour shift • Monday to Friday Experience : • Front desk: 1 year (Preferred) • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location : • Multiple locations Responsibilities: • Greet patients in a warm and friendly manner as they come in for their Orthopaedic or Physical Therapy appointment • Enter patient information into electronic medical records, we currently use Modmed and WebPT • Verify if established patients have had any changes to their personal information or insurance • Check-in and check-out patients promptly • Collect balances, copays, deductibles, surgery payments • Schedule follow-up and physical therapy appointments for patients • Scan medical records daily and send tasks as needed • Make reminder calls for Physical Therapy evaluations Qualifications: • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills • 1-2 years experience in a medical office preferred • EMR experience, specifically Modmed or WebPT would be a plus • Fluent in Spanish preferred, but not necessary • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to use good judgment and seek appropriate resources in difficult situations • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $19 hourly
