    JOB DESCRIPTION: Our Client is currently seeking a talented PROJECT MANAGER WITH MANAGED SERVICES TRANSITION experience to manage the onboarding of new clients into managed services environment. The Transition Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the onboarding including monitoring tool rollouts, ServiceNow Service Desk configuration, and ITIL process alignment. The PM coordinates, communicates and manages all phases of the onboarding including requirements validation, discovery, project and resource planning, vendor coordination if required, as- built documentation and successful handoff to the operations team. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience managing both transition projects and other IT implementation projects

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously across Our Client’s technical portfolio of solutions and transition
    • Lead the project kickoff and align joint project team to the agreed upon Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure alignment with customer requirements and defined scope.
    • Maintain overall accountability for the project team including driving client responsibilities, and the delivery of successful, high quality and profitable project
    • Create and maintain a detailed deliverable-based project plan, communication plan, milestones and timeline for the project including critical path and relevant dependencies.
    • Proactively identify, communicate and manage risks via an agreed upon project governance cadence.
    • Integrate project IT change requirements with the client’s change management requirements, standards and processes.
    • Manage project financials including any scope changes which may affect project budget, schedule, resource time, assumptions, deliverable quality and resource allocation.
    • Create and nurture excellent client relationships and communications.
    • Work with purchasing to ensure that any required project equipment is ordered for on-time delivery.
    • Work with the customer billing team to ensure projects are billed as stated within the project statement of work.
    • Prepare and lead periodic Executive Steering Committee project reviews to ensure client and Executive and Key Stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle
    • Utilize existing available project collateral but also enhance or create new collateral when required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Overall working knowledge of technical systems architecture, and practice area solutions to enable meaningful dialogue with customers and project engineers.
    • Minimum 5 yrs. experience managing project P&L, risks, assumptions, and delivering on-time and on budget, projects
    • Degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience.
    • Knowledge of and experience with Cisco Unified Communications and Contact Center technologies – required
    • ITIL Certification and/or equivalent understanding – required
    • Must be have excellent proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
    • Proven track record of managing successful managed services transition and IT projects
    • Experience managing internal and client relationships with all levels of executive, mid-level management, staff, and third-party vendors
    • Proven detailed oriented team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
    • Customer service orientation with good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
    • Experience managing and motivating non-dedicated resources in a matrix reporting relationship
    • Experience with remote infrastructure monitoring tools  – a plus
    • PMP certification or in progress– highly desired
    • Previous experience using ServiceNow Service Desk and ITBM Project & Portfolio management system a plus.
