Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Sales Intern will assist the Domestic Automotive Sealing, Functional, Interiors/Exteriors, and Safety Systems teams with managing efforts associated with commercial management, sales forecasting, and reporting.  The candidate will also assist in planning and preparation efforts for meetings with internal and external customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide assistance with establishing and tracking open commercial issues associated with engineering changes, aged receivables, and margin enhancement efforts
• Assist with planning and preparation for meetings with internal and external customers
• Provide assistance with Sales Forecasting to ensure timely and accurate updates are processed
• Support other tasks in Sales department as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years’ undergraduate studies completed
• Coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Communications, Management, Finance, or related fields
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including Excel)
• Excellent organization and communication skills required
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
