SUMMARY

Power Industrial Lift Operator Safety Trainer. Reports to The Operator Safety Training Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide Toyota Material Handling Systems customers powered industrial lift training and certification.

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Good communication and public speaking skills is a must
• Aligns with Company's Core Values and culture
• Ability to follow instructions and make decisions / adapt to changes quickly.
• Proficient in computer-based programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Train and certify individuals on lift truck equipment including but not limited to Sit down Counterbalance, Narrow Aisle Reach Lift, Order picker, Electric Pallet Jack, and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not a requirement
• Punctuality is a must.
• Clear penmanship and ability to record accurate information.
• Paperwork and documentation must be neat, clean, legible, and organized.
• Must be self-motivated and organized.
• Keep training area clean and safe.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 75 lbs.)
• Occasionally classes are held/taught outside normal business hours. Schedule flexibility is required.
• Communicate with customer/client about TMHS safety training offerings, sell training and schedule classes accordingly
• Maintain training records on each customer/client (Physical and/or digital format)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Prior forklift operating knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Provide powered industrial lift training for customers at 6000 Plummer Rd Training Facility as well as at customer locations. Traveling to various customer locations is a requirement. Schedule flexibility is a must.
