Vice President of Finance and Administration
We are currently seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to join our team! ►This position reports to the President and serves as an integral member of the senior management team. ►Outstanding opportunity for a finance executive with operational experience and proven track record of create problem-solving and change management to join in a high-growth, mission-driven organization. SUMMARY: * Contributes to the development of the organization strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, the VP will be charged with developing and implementing more sophisticated policies and procedures both in finance and general operational realms. * Supplies management all financial information necessary for making policy decisions. Is responsible for the computation and timely payment of all taxes and any leasehold or contractual obligations. * Supervises HR, IT and all accounting functions: budgeting, cost accounting, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial closing. * Responsible for management information services and purchasing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Advice the CEO and other key members on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities and policy matters. * Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CEO informed of all critical opportunities. * Oversee, direct, and organize the work of finance and admin (HR, IT, Accounting) operation teams * Promote culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality * Interface with outside auditors * Manage all accounting, finance and treasury functions * Banking and cash flow management * Financial statement preparation and reporting * Develop management information systems * Proficient in Dysel Accounting Software * Maintain account reconciliation's * Benefits administration of 401 (k) plan * Budgeting and forecasts * Preparation of special projects for Toyota corporate * Prepare and maintain all taxes for the business (exclusive of income taxes) * Inventory control and physical inventory * Outside insurance contracting * Assist all departments in controlling costs and expenses * Communicate with outside legal counsel non all legal matters. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; MBA preferred Automotive or similar retail dealership experience preferred. Certificates and Licenses: CPA Base annual salary : $175,000 Job Prerequisites: * BA Degree in Accounting or related business field * 5-7 years increasing responsibility in the Accounting field * Strong supervisory skills * Strong written and verbal communication * Strong Excel, Access knowledge and Dysel accounting software * Ability to supervise Dysel applications Acknowledgment: The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
