    SUMMARY

    To direct and coordinate the activities of a specified group in an efficient manner for the desired quality and quantity of work necessary to meet business requirements and customer specifications

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Directs the work of a group of at least two employees
    • Oversees the day-to-day operations, training and development of staff
    • Assigns work, meets completion dates and interprets & ensures consistent application of policies and procedures
    • Communicates with subordinates, peers and management
    • Manages daily tam functions and checks for workflow errors and inconsistencies
    • Develops, implements and maintains standard operating procedures, practices and work instructions
    • Directs and maintain activities that ensure that the physical plant facility is kept clean and organized, that the all company associates are operating in a safe environment and that the company is manufacturing a quality product that is being delivered in a timely manner.
    • Other duties may be assigned

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsible for training employees, directing or distributing work, handling employee’s complaints, determining and/or planning work, and also performing the same kind of work as subordinates. Responsible for initiating hiring, disciplining, termination, and appraisal of work of employees.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Basic computer skills including word-processing, PowerPoint, and Excel are required for this position.

                                              

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Required Experience

    Typically a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 – 6 years experience, including supervisory experience.
