SUMMARY:  Precise Systems is seeking a highly self-motivated, successful Accounting Specialist for the Accounts Payable and Travel functions in a fast-paced government contracting environment in Reston, VA. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Accounts Payable: Facilitate the successful processing of the full-cycle Accounts Payable function – invoice/expense report receipt and review, routing for approvals, coding/entry, payment, and filing (electronic).  Ensure activities accomplished to meet monthly and year-end close deadlines.  Assists with resolution all vendor and customer inquiries.
• Travel: Review all travel expense reports and work with employees on questions regarding our travel policies and the system.  Knowledge of travel rules and regulations for Government Contractors.  Travel is CONUS and OCONUS.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: H.S. Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree Preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) years of experience in a Government Contracting environment working with Accounts Payable is required.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint. Knowledge of Concur is a plus.
• Proficiency using various software, applications, and programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive, customer-service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions. 
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow-through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention-to-detail.
• Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business.
