HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

Manage the import/export compliance program for the privately held Company reporting to the COO. Can be based either in Charlotte, NC area or the Cincinnati, OH areas.

Work remotely until Covid-19 restrictions pass.

EXPECTATIONS

• Manage the trade compliance program
• Manage a small staff
• Oversee classification, FTA’s, PGA’s, duty drawback, exports (DPS)
• Manage Customs Broker and conduct audits
• Oversee FTZ operations
• Responsible for Polices, Procedures, Manuals, Training
• Will be a hand on position

ESSENTIALS

• Customs Broker’s License required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience managing trade compliance programs
• Extensive experience in product classifications, FTA’s, PGA’s, duty drawback, DPS
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
• People management experience
• Some relocation assistance available to the Charlotte, NC or Cincinnati, OH areas
