Oversee the Export Trade Control Program – Hartford, CT area

EXPECTATIONS

• Oversee the Export Trade Control Program -self contributor role to start
• Full responsibility to support/guide/audit mostly export related issues some imports
• Working knowledge of ECCN /HTS Classifications, deemed exports
• Experience filing Export Licenses (Commerce, ITAR, CJ’s)
• Procedures/manuals/training updates
• Audits: Prepare, conduct, execute plans to correct
• Denied Party Screening responsibility
• Responsible for process improvements
• Will be the Empowered Official

ESSENTIALS

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experienced in Export license filings: Commerce, ITAR, CJ’s required
• Working Global Export/Import Trade/Ops Compliance knowledge/experience required
• Project Management/auditing experience
• ECCN/HTS Classifications, deemed exports, AES experience, denied party screening
• Previous Empowered Official experience a plus
• Experience in Microsoft applications
• Relocation assistance provided to the Hartford, CT area
