As the \#1 trade compliance subject matter expert, direct the export compliance and licensing program reporting to the General Counsel in a start-up environment with a publicly traded corporation. Hybrid with relocation assistance available to Long Beach, CA.

EXPECTATIONS

Lead and develop a small team in a start-up company environment

Provide export compliance subject matter expertise and leadership

Serve as an Empowered Official

Develop and implement new procedures

Manage ITAR and EAR licensing

Work with Engineers

Advise on export compliance issues

ESSENTIALS

Experience as the \#1 Trade compliance professional

Experience as a strong leader

Experience as an Empowered Official helpful

Experience managing export State and Commerce licensing programs

Experience with technology control plans

Experience working with Engineers

Management experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred not required

Some relocation assistance available to the Long Beach CA area
