Manage and improve the young trade compliance program for a medium size company with a group of business units.Great work/life balance with growth opportunity in the Naperville, Illinois area.

EXPECTATIONS

• Serve as the Import/Export compliance subject matter expert
• Advise multiple business units on trade compliance
• Manage the export compliance licensing program
• Oversee ECCN classification project
• Make HTS classification determinations
• Manage Customs brokers
• Provide BIS export licensing expertise
• Conduct training and develop policies and procedures
• Manage a small team of indirect repots
• Conduct internal audits of various facilities

ESSENTIALS

• Experience managing import/export compliance programs
• Experience managing multiple business units
• Experience with ECCN and HTS classification
• Experience with BIS licensing
• Experience managing Customs Brokers
• People management experience
• Experience developing policies and procedures
• Some travel required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred not required
• Naperville, IL area locals preferred
