Newly developed position to help lead the global trade compliance program at a growing company. Emphasis on global export controls and project work. Great opportunity for career advancement. Remote to start due to Covid-19. Based northwest of Dallas, Texas.

EXPECTATIONS

• Provide expertise on import/export compliance with an emphasis on export compliance
• Provide both hands on expertise and strategic guidance
• No employees to start with growth plans to manage a global team in the future
• Work on special projects and automation
• Work with global locations
• Develop and provide trade compliance training
• Develop and implement processes and procedures

ESSENTIALS

• Experience managing global trade compliance
• Experience with export compliance including global export licensing requirements
• Experience working with customs and import compliance
• Great relationship building experience
• People management experience
• Customs Broker’s License helpful
• Ability to travel to global sites worldwide
• Experience with a trade law or consulting firm helpful
• Law Degree
• Relocation assistance available to the DFW area
