Develop and lead the export compliance program for a small company managing a small team

Great working conditions in a newly created position reporting through Legal. Huntington Beach, CA area.

EXPECTATIONS

• Serve as the export compliance subject matter expert as the Empowered Official
• Manage EAR and some ITAR export licenses
• Make ECCN classification determinations
• Develop policies and procedures
• Conduct trade compliance training
• Conduct denied party screening and oversee deemed exports
• Advise management on trade compliance issues
• Review and improve existing systems and conduct audits
• Manage a small team

ESSENTIALS

• Experience as an Empowered Official managing export compliance programs
• Experience developing policies and procedures
• Experience with denied party screening and deemed exports
• Experience with Commerce Department export licensing required
• Experience with State Department licensing required
• Experience with ECCN classification required
• People management experience required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Huntington Beach, CA area locals only please
