    Show & Event Host – Five Star Flooring

    Position Overview

    As a Show & Event Host, you will be the face of Five Star Flooring at home shows, community events, trade shows, fairs, festivals, and promotional events. Your main goal is to engage homeowners, create excitement around our flooring services, and schedule free in-home consultations with qualified customers.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing, confident, persuasive, and enjoys talking with people. The role begins part-time based on event volume, with the potential to grow into full-time as our event schedule expands.

    Key Responsibilities

    Represent Five Star Flooring with energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

    Greet and engage event attendees in a friendly, approachable way.

    Introduce homeowners to our flooring products, services, and in-home consultation process.

    Schedule qualified appointments for free in-home flooring consultations.

    Collect customer information accurately and enter leads/appointments into the CRM.

    Help set up, maintain, and tear down event booths, displays, samples, signage, and materials.

    Keep the booth clean, inviting, organized, and exciting throughout the event.

    Work closely with the marketing and event team to meet appointment and lead goals.

    Create a fun, upbeat booth experience that attracts attention and builds trust.

    Qualifications

    Outgoing, high-energy personality with confidence approaching new people.

    Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional presence.

    Prior experience in events, promotions, retail, customer service, sales, or marketing is a plus.

    Comfortable using a tablet, phone, or CRM system to enter customer information.

    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

    Must be available evenings and weekends.

    Able to stand for extended periods and assist with light setup/teardown.

    Positive team player with a willingness to learn and grow.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Starting pay of $18.00 per hour

    Commission for qualified appointments set
