  • Responsibilities

    Position: Trade Support Temp - NYC
    Temp-to-Perm

    Return to Office: 4days onsite, Monday-Thursday

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade entry, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
    • Work closely with the Front Office to ensure trade details are accurately captured and processed.
    • Enter and maintain trades across various products, including credit, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, options, futures, and FX forwards.
    • Coordinate trade settlements and resolve settlement issues or exceptions.
    • Investigate and resolve trade breaks and discrepancies between internal systems, counterparties, custodians, and other parties.
    • Partner with Trade Compliance and Accounting to ensure trades are processed accurately and in accordance with internal requirements.
    • Support derivative trade processing, including IRS and other swap transactions.
    • Assist with trade-related reporting, reconciliations, and operational inquiries.
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties regarding trade details and settlement issues.
    • Help ensure accurate and timely processing throughout the trade lifecycle.

    • Credit Default Swaps (CDS)
    • Options
    • Futures
    • FX Forwards
    • Other Derivatives / Swaps
    • Real Estate-related products

     

    Qualifications

    • 2–10 years of relevant experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, or a similar function.
    • Targeting Analyst or Associate-level candidates; this is not a VP-level position.
    • Experience supporting the trade lifecycle within an asset manager, hedge fund, private credit firm, investment bank, or similar financial institution.
    • Understanding of trade entry, settlement, reconciliation, and trade break resolution.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with derivatives is preferred.
    • Experience with Advent Geneva or another proprietary order/trade management system is a plus, but not required.

     

  • Compensation
    $110,000-$140,000 per year
