We are in search of a California-based full-time trademark paralegal. This is a position that can be fully remote or hybrid, but the candidate must be based in California. We are only considering candidates with at least 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios, either at a law firm or in-house legal department. We are in search of an exceptional, highly experienced Trademark and Copyright Paralegal to work in close collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of US and foreign trademark prosecution, and will be very comfortable communicating with foreign counsel. There is an annual billable requirement of 1,440 hours. Responsibilities: • End-to-end ownership of a busy trademark docket (50% US; 50% foreign) • Prepare, file, and monitor US and international trademark applications • Prepare and submit copyright filings • Correspond extensively with foreign associates and manage global trademark portfolios • Prepare reporting and other correspondence to clients • Conduct preliminary USPTO, Saegis, and Internet searches • Review and manage trademark watch notices and subscriptions • Assist with takedowns and other enforcement matters • Assist with TTAB matters Qualifications: ● Minimum of 5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios● Expert level knowledge of USPTO filings ● Expert level knowledge of trademark docketing (experience with AltLegal is a plus)● Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office● Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented● Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly
