TRADER INTERACTIVE IS HIRING A DIGITAL RETAILING PRODUCT MANAGER.
The Digital Retailing Product Manager will join the growing Trader Interactive Digital Retailing team and will be responsible for supporting our online vehicle transacting initiatives within several markets throughout the product life cycle to optimize KPIs and meet company, brand, product and sales growth objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet business deliverables, timelines and expectations
Drive innovative digital solutions to meet strategic business goals
Gather business requirements from a variety of sources, such as the product team, dealers, consumers, stakeholders, design, sales and marketing
Document, elaborate on and work with business leadership to prioritize these requirements as part of the overall product roadmap
Maintain and prioritize a large product backlog
Serve as subject matter expert in relevant product domains assisting with customer UAT, defect triage and mitigation efforts
Partner with stakeholders to define minimum viable product (MVP)
Inspect, accept or reject completed development work
Communicate work in progress and upcoming work to key internal and external stakeholders
Develop an understanding of the target markets and user bases which will then guide decisions on product backlog and prioritization
Contribute to the business cases created by project managers as necessary to justify proposed solutions and business investments
Conduct customer, market, and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, market gaps and unmet customer needs
Act as project manager lead in strategic initiatives for discovery and delivery
Act as Key point of contact for Digital Retailing team
Create Epics, User Stories, and UAC for the Scrum team
Work closely with teammates and tools to identify new ways of optimizing the product
Orchestrate multivariate testing of hypotheses
Review product in QA prior to release to ensure alignment with UAC and requirements are being met
Demo new product features and enhancements to both internal and external stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner, or Business Analyst experience in software product development environment
A minimum of 5 years of related experience in software development
4-year degree
Ability to support Agile Scrum methodologies or waterfall methodologies
Proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
Experience working with software development teams
Experience in a role with strong requirements elicitation (Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, consultant, etc.)
Experience with customer support and bug tracking
Experience and proficiency with business management tools JIRA, G Suite and MS suite
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Digital/online retailing
Building digital B2C and B2B products
User engagement data analysis and reporting
