    POSITION: Traders Point Christian Schools is seeking candidates for our MS/JH Cheerleading coach position.      

    ABOUT TRADERS POINT:  Traders Point Christian Schools is a co-ed, Private, Preschool-12 School serving 720 students on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. 

    ·       30% Enrollment growth over the past 3 years

    ·       Located in Whitestown, IN- Indiana’s fastest growing community the past 4 years

    ·       Recently completed a $1.5 turf athletic stadium, and $6.5 million high school will be open in Summer 2017

    ·       IHSAA Tournament Eligible in 2018-2019

    ·       Grades 5-8 Sports compete in the IISL (Indianapolis Independent School League) 

    TPCA CHEER PROGRAM: MS/JH GRADE GIRLS; FALL AND WINTER SEASON SPORT; WINTER SEASON ENDS FEBRUARY 1ST, 2020.

    QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate should have previous High School or Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience in cheerleading, be passionate about overseeing and building a program, and possesses the qualities of being inspirational, joyful, and relational.  Experience in constructing a tennis facility, and key relationships to put together a full coaching staff also highly valued.      

    ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT PURPOSE STATEMENT: All applicants should agree and abide by our Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads:

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) developing appropriate skill building opportunities for each developmental level, 2) participating collegially in meetings and initiatives of the athletics department, 3) taking an active role in the life of the school community, especially the co-curricular events of students, and 4) other duties as directed by athletic director within the scope of experience and competence to complement the coaching role.
