Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and systems.

Perform electrical work related to AV installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with hands-on understanding of electrical, drywall, concrete, carpentry and drop ceiling work.

Tasks may include but are not limited to: patching/repairing or hanging drywall, fixing minor, installing, repair/replace flooring , building office furniture.

Must be multi-skilled in general residential/commercial remodeling, repairs/maintenance, and installations in the areas of carpentry, drop ceiling repair, drywall, painting, electrical wiring. “Jack of all trades” maintenance skill set, stripping and replacing sheet rock, repairing floors and roofs, and performing small demolition jobs.

Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand technical requirements.

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.

Travel nationwide to various job sites, adapting to different environments and challenges.

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients during installations.

Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

Stay updated with the latest AV technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a handyman, electrician, tradesman, mechanic or AV/IT Technician.

Valid electrical license or certification highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems and electrical wiring highly preferred.

Ability to travel sometimes for weeks and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights when necessary.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in AV systems is a plus.
