    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Retail Marketing Manager of National Accounts plays a pivotal part in creating brand awareness at point of sale and ultimately driving conversion. This person will oversee enhancing the consumer's shopping experience with Traeger at retail through key national accounts like Home Depot and grocery chains achieving an essential balance of executing displays that both meet these channel's strict requirements while also finding ways to disrupt the space. This person will report to the Director of Retail Product Marketing and work closely with our Sales Director of Key Accounts and Grocery Specialty Sales team to proactively build-out promotional marketing and in-store experience strategies.

     

    HOW YOU'LL HELP US WIN:

    • Work with sales team and accounts to create and coordinate programs, projects, and planograms focused on increasing brand awareness and sell-through in retail environments
    • Understand unique channel merchandising requirements, as well as what kind of pre-approved displays/fixtures each utilizes
    • Build-out calendars based on accounts schedule for floor re-sets and ensure we align on promotional and seasonal initiatives.
    • Work with approved partners to ensure all displays receive regular maintenance and are refreshed as needed seasonally and for product launches
    • Collaborate with product team on retail-ready master pack displays, like PDQs, that allow for easy and neat execution in big-box environment
    • Work closely with Traeger's Digital Experience team to utilize tactical approaches that seamlessly merge the digital and physical worlds into a holistic experience for shoppers
    • Responsible for maintaining a strong communication flow between all parties from cross-functional Traeger teams, to agency partners, to account contacts
    • Manage production and execution of POP & Fixtures programs for National Accounts. Along with finance and category product teams, understand costs and contribution margin impact of merchandising programs prior to making recommendations.
    • Understand and report on the financial impact of visual merchandising initiatives within National Accounts, both before and after initiatives launch
    • Optimize on channels existing platforms to provide executional guidelines and training for store employees
    • Oversee all creative content requests from key accounts for in-store/marketing assets
    • Work with RPM Director to research and report on retail landscape on a defined schedule
      • Gather insight on what our competitors are doing and look for inspiration from other brands
      • Understand consumer buying behavior, what drives them from discovery to conversion and help create the path to purchase journey in store
    • Master RPM software tools like PlanogramBuilder. Become proficient in other software tools RPM Director designates.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and within a team. Works well when having to pick up new projects on the fly.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to constantly changing platforms.
    • Capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • 3-5 years' experience in complex project management and managing vendor relationships
    • Highly organized, and self-driven to meet deadlines
    • Previous experience with retail merchandising within national accounts/big box preferred
