Responsibilities: Perform various duties in the yard, including but not limited to: • Washing Equipment. • Replacing and Repairing Straps. • Greasing equipment. • Helping with Ratchets and tarps on trailers. • Changing Truck Tires. • Some additional duties may be added or changed due to operational needs. Qualifications: • Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions. • Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools, including reading a tape measure and using a hammer. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment, as well as work alone. • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively. • Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to wear all applicable PPE properly. • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull, maximum lift – 100 lbs.; frequently lift/carry – up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to see within the normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses. • Must be able to hear running machinery. • Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively. • Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination. • Must regularly be able to reach overhead. • Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist, and stand. • Must be able to walk around regularly, using steps occasionally. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
