    Job Description

    A successful Service Technician must maintain excellent customer service while providing quality and efficient repairs on Class 8 Tractor and Trailers. PS Logistics is searching for a high level of integrity, driven, qualified, and experienced Technician that wants to grow their careers and lead our company to be the best service provider in the industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Value our customers with a high standard of excellence in quality & efficient repairs as well as excellent customer service
    • Diagnose, repair & maintain commercial trailers by analyzing diagnostic test results (computerized, sound, visual, feel, smell, etc.)
    • Perform Federal DOT inspections as well as preventative maintenance
    • Perform light duty repairs
    • Maintain company owned tools
    • Maintain company owned service trucks
    • Participate in company paid training & continuing education of OEM spec changes
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Skill Level: Advanced Level
    • Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers.
    • Valid state driver’s license / US work authorization
    • Dependable, organized & self-motivated
    • (Preferred, not required) A CDL, clear of violations/accidents & provide current DOT medical certificate
    • Minimum 1yr experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes
    • Advanced Aluminum welding & fabrication, replacement of structural components, suspension components, electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
