  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Training and development of CNC work skills and knowledge for new and existing operators to improve the efficiency of production processes. This includes hands-on instructions on setup, tooling, programming and safety procedures

    • Provide comprehensive training on CNC machine operation, programming and maintenance
    • Develop and update training materials and programs to meet industry standards
    • Assist new hires and existing operators in diagnosing and resolving issues related to CNC machine operation and programming
    • Assess the progress and performance of trainees, provide feedback and guidance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • HS diploma or equivalent. Postsecondary training in CNC operations, such as a certificate or degree program preferred.
    • A strong understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and mathematics is essential.
    • Deep understanding of CNC machine setup, operation and programming (including G-code)
    • Familiarity with CAD and CAM software
    • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse learners
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail are crucial
