Job Description
We are seeking a DATA ANALYST To become an integral part of our team! Primary responsibilities include data analysis, data quality control, data management, and special projects and reporting as may be assigned. Data analytics, data management, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, project prioritization, deadline management, attention to detail, and accuracy, and personal ethics are critical components of the job. This position will work with client and company sensitive information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
DATA MANAGEMENT/ANALYSIS –Must take responsibility for managing and analyzing various master data sets, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. Examples of responsibilities include the following:
Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
Providing quality assurance of imported data
Commissioning and decommission of data sets
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
Helping develop reports and analysis
Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources and security
Generating reports from single or multiple environments
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
DATABASE MAINTENANCE - Includes maintenance of company’s proprietary database and/or other tracking systems/databases to set up, register, enroll trainees, instructors, courses, track training and report registrations or attendance as required per client engagement and funding agency requirements. Responsible for accuracy of data in all documents, uploads and special reports produced or tasked with reviewing.
CONTRACT/PROJECT SUPPORT - Work closely with Supervisor and Project Analyst staff as appropriate to assist with project tasks that are client specific or department wide projects. Prepare reporting/data as applicable for funding agency monitoring meetings. Work closely with company team members as appropriate to assist with projects that are client specific.
ADMINISTRATIVE - Participate in internal department meetings as appropriate. Provide administrative support as required to assist in the administration of client grant compliance.
QUALITY CONTROL AUDIT – Provide quality review/audit support to team to ensure quality of data entry/uploads of client data to company's proprietary database, other databases and to funding agency systems
