About the Role
The Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that support operational excellence, consistent guest experience, and strong performance across multi-location, service-based wellness organization.

This role directly supports that mission by equipping teams and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to positively impact lives every day.
This role owns the full training lifecycle — from content development and learning strategy to live facilitation, coaching, and performance follow-up. You’ll work closely with Operations, field leadership, and cross-functional partners to support new location openings, leadership development, system updates, and performance improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for a training leader who enjoys building structure, simplifying complex processes, and turning training into real-world results.
What You’ll Do
Training Programs & Content Development
Design, write, and maintain operational training content for front-line and leadership roles
Translate operational processes into clear, practical training materials (manuals, guides, workbooks, job aids)
Ensure training content stays current as systems, services, or processes evolve
Support change management through clear communication and training updates
Learning Systems & Enablement
Build and manage learning paths within a Learning Management System (LMS) or comparable platform
Create engaging online training, practice activities, and assessments to reinforce learning
Support basic troubleshooting and continuous improvement of training tools and content
Partner with internal teams on training related to system enhancements or new offerings
Leadership, Field & Live Training
Plan and facilitate live and virtual training sessions, workshops, and leadership programs
Support onboarding and ongoing development for managers and field leaders
Reinforce training adoption and execution through collaboration with operations teams
Performance & Sales Coaching
Lead training and coaching initiatives focused on improving sales performance, conversion, and consultation quality
Identify performance gaps using available data and field feedback
Develop targeted training and coaching plans to address underperformance
Track progress and provide clear reporting on trends, outcomes, and improvement plans
Project Management & Cross-Functional Support
Manage training-related projects, timelines, and deliverables
Partner with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and rollouts
Maintain organized training documentation and resources in shared libraries
Ideal Candidate
You’re a strategic, execution-focused training leader who thrives in service-based, multi-location environments. You’re comfortable owning programs end-to-end, balancing structure with flexibility, and coaching teams toward measurable improvement. You care about guest experience and understand how training directly impacts both people and performance.
You’ve managed in one or more of the following environments: spa, wellness, membership-based models or other guest-facing service organizations such as hospitality, fitness, or retail.
You enjoy collaborating across departments, coaching leaders and teams, and seeing training translate into confident employees and satisfied guests.
Qualifications
Experience in training, learning & development, or operations enablement (multi-unit experience preferred)
Background in wellness, hospitality, fitness, retail, or other service-based environments
Strong sales acumen with experience coaching performance or conversion improvement
Hands-on experience with an LMS or digital learning platform (specific platforms a plus, not required)
Strong instructional design and facilitation skills; comfortable creating manuals, guides, and training materials
Experience managing projects and working cross-functionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel 60–75% to deliver training, with flexibility for short-notice assignments and multi-day stays
