BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructor for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.

The Training Specialist/Instructor conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses, and prepares appropriate training catalogs. This individual shall prepare all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms). This individual is responsible for training personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Education/Training in the areas of computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.)

Specialized Experience:

The proposed candidate must have at least two (2) years of experience in developing and providing IT and end user training on computer hardware and application software.

Preferred Qualifications:

The proposed candidate must have at least four (4) years of experience in information systems development, training, or related fields.
