GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an innovative thinker and enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys challenges and a fast-paced environment to join us as a Procurement Training Coordinator.
This position coordinates training activities and administrative functions for procurement training and certification programs and serves as the initial contact for internal and external customers seeking information and assistance related to training, course availability and wait list, certification and re-certification issues.
As the Procurement Training Coordinator you will coordinate registration activities, schedule virtual classes, track and maintain course enrollment and test completion, generate reports, and perform other administrative functions. This position will be responsible for co-facilitating training classes and providing support to the instructor for pre and post-course activities with the LMS or other training tools.
Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:
The Procurement Training Coordinator will provide guidance to staff and suppliers in assigned training areas and on specific training and certification requirements, and assist in change management activities related to procurement technology implementation projects.
The Procurement Training Coordinator will support recertification activities to include reviewing recertification applications, updating internal Excel tracking spreadsheets, updating student records and communicating with students.
This position also supports coordinating local government student participation in the State's certification program, to include coordinating with accounts payable related to invoicing and payment receipt, internal tracking, and communication with students.
The Procurement Training Coordinator will perform duties within the learning management system, customer relationship management (CRM) system and other training program tools. Other duties as assigned.
This position is eligible for teleworking as part of the Department’s hybrid work environment and requires worker to maintain suitable work environment (Internet, etc.) for remote work. Must be available to work in-office as required, such as attending in-person staff meetings, working sessions, and as directed by supervisor.
