We have an exciting opportunity in our Learning and Development Department for a Learning and Development Specialist!
Guided by our values— Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Excellence, and Empowerment —you’ll lead onboarding, manage our Learning Management System (LMS), and design impactful, data-informed learning programs. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure all employees have the tools, support, and confidence to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver an inclusive, values-driven onboarding experience that reflects DuPage Credit Union’s culture of Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence , helping new team members feel welcomed, empowered, and prepared from day one.
· Facilitate engaging and accessible orientation and training sessions that build foundational knowledge in service, sales, and member engagement—laying the groundwork for individual and organizational success.
· Manage and continuously optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure all learning materials are accurate, accessible, and assigned appropriately to support diverse learning needs.
· Develop and implement engaging, equity-minded learning initiatives , including compliance and regulatory training, that support professional growth and meet evolving organizational requirements.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create training content that aligns with our brand and reflects our commitment to Innovation and Empowerment , while honoring diverse voices and perspectives.
· Track and analyze onboarding and training data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement—ensuring learning experiences are impactful and inclusive.
· Coach and support internal trainers and SMEs to enhance delivery quality, promote consistency, and foster a culture of learning that supports all team members.
Qualifications:
· 2–4 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering learning programs.
· Proficiency in instructional design principles, curriculum development tools, and digital learning platforms.
· Hands-on experience with LMS administration and e-learning content management.
· Background in financial services, customer service, or sales is a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
