The Trak-Star Sales Representative reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Collaborate and partner with Class 1, Short Line, Transits, and Railroad Contractors.
Ability and willingness to travel two weeks a month with overnight travel.
Office responsibilities when not traveling include functioning as the main customer contact for all communications related to Trak-Star. This includes but is not limited to, customer order fulfillment and satisfaction, managing web portal invoicing, and retrieving purchase orders. Support the Repair department as required.
Helps Coordinate with company and customer shows/events.
Keep current with the demand and supply of the company’s products/services, economic indicators, changing trends, and competitors to ensure an accurate forecast.
Development of new customers and opportunities for the company.
Must possess the ability to operate and use all products proficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of meeting the requirements of the Trak-Star Sales Representative.
Mechanical aptitude, ability to perform or learn small engine repair.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Motivated, energetic, and creative team player who consistently strives to exceed goals.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM Software needed to perform reporting requirements.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
