    Position summary

    Steward Land Company is hiring a highly organized Transaction Coordinator to keep deals moving from contract to close (60% of the role) and to provide hands-on support to the Managing Partner (≈40%). This is an in-office, full-time position for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling transaction logistics and executive-level land development projects.

    Key responsibilities

    Transaction coordination (60%)

    • Own transactions from contract to close: track deadlines, contingencies, and deliverables
    • Coordinate with title companies, closing attorneys, lenders, buyers/sellers and internal stakeholders
    • Prepare, review, and maintain transaction folders and closing documents
    • Create and maintain checklist/status updates to ensure timely closings
    • Verify title/escrow requirements and follow up on outstanding items
    • Ensure transactions comply with internal processes and legal requirements

    Managing Partner support (40%)

    • Assist with the management of multiple land development projects
    • Assist with nurturing investor relationships and communication
    • Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and summaries as needed
    • Handle operational tasks and small projects to keep leadership focused on growth
    • Act as a reliable point of contact and gatekeeper when required

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 1–3+ years of experience in real estate transactions, title/escrow, or as a transaction coordinator or similar role
    • Strong organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines
    • Comfortable working full-time in the office and interacting with vendors and partners in person/phone/email

    Preferred

    • Experience with title companies, escrow processes, and closing workflows
    • Familiarity with CRM/project tools (e.g., ClickUp, Google Workspace)
    • Experience supporting senior leadership or C-level executives

    Compensation & benefits

    • Salary: $50,000–$70,000 (includes per-closing bonus structure)
