    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    In addition to Security Guard responsibilities, the Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst is responsible for providing operational support to Security Professionals in the Field (to include Patrol Drivers), Operations Managers, the Director of Operations and Executive Staff. Provide continuous operational oversight using company systems through TrackTik, GeoTab, and security cameras. Monitor Security Personnel's activities and reports. Answer SOC phone (24 hour officer support line) to provide support and answers to employees in the field. Responsible for scheduling changes for immediate call-offs and within 24 hours of current time.

    • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and
    • maintain security of premises.
    • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
    • Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
    • Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
    • Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
    • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
    • Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
    • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
    • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when
    • necessary.

    . Requirements:

    • Current Arizona Security Guard License
    • At least 1 year of experience as security guard preferred, but not required.
    • Must be at least age 18.
    • Must be able to pass an in-depth criminal background check.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screening (This is a zero tolerance work environment).
    • Must have a reliable means of transportation.
    • Must have a clean driving record and valid Arizona Driver's License.
    • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
    • Must have the ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
    • Ability to pass an English composition assessment upon request (This ensures the ability to utilize proper grammar & spelling for report writing).
    • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Job type: Full-time or Part-time

    Pay: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour

    GUARD CARD INFORMATION

    In order to be considered for employment, applicants must have, or must be able to obtain, a Security Guard License issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Applicants with a current license may be considered for immediate employment. Applicants that have already completed the Security Guard Licensing class through a 3rd party company, may be considered for contingent employment, upon issuance of your license. If you do not have a license and would like to be considered for future employment, please complete the Application and Assessment. If you meet our minimum requirements, you will be contacted to arrange a time to complete the Security Guard class at your convenience. Transcend Security does not charge for the class however, applicants are responsible for paying their own licensing fee (currently $72.00). Please note that the licensing process takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
