Transition Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transition Specialist (TS) to join our team. The TS will be responsible for facilitating transitions, including reorganizations, process changes, and other initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
A Transition Specialist (TS) refers to a professional who assists individuals or groups in navigating significant transitions. The TS plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the Maze of Life Resource Center (MOLRC) new partner development process. The overall purpose of the TS is to facilitate a smoother and more successful transition for partners to navigate through the significant aspects of their role with MOLRC.
The TS will provide a combination of practical advice, emotional support, and resources to help individuals adapt to and thrive in their new role.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience, preferred but not limited to, learning development, group facilitation, group training, counseling, psychology, social work, social services, addictions, substance abuse, mental health, developmental disabilities, communications, promotions, business administration, organizational development, human resources, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in supervision, project and change management, organizational development, or a related field, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools, the Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with department leaders and key stakeholders to identify transition needs, objectives, and timelines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive transition plans for departmental changes, outlining strategies, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate communication efforts to ensure that partners are informed about upcoming changes, including organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and distributing written materials.
- Provide individualized support and assistance to partners affected by departmental transitions, addressing questions, concerns, and providing guidance as needed.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to support partner development and readiness for transition-related changes.
- Monitor progress and outcomes of departmental transitions, identifying challenges and implementing solutions to address issues and ensure successful implementation.
- Serve as a liaison between department leaders, partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the transition process.
- Conduct post-transition evaluations to assess effectiveness, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
