TSG has an immediately available opportunity with an established medical provider in Downtown San Diego. They are looking for a System Engineer to come in and redesign and build out their new network architecture and migrate their firewall to Palo Alto.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate current operating processes and provide educated improvements across process and documentation.
• Monitor the environment to troubleshoot, improve and isolate issued for over 40 remote sites.
• Heavily work on network security controls focusing on proper implementation and monitoring all compliant with SOC 2.
• Windows server administration for server versions 2008/2012/2012R2/2016/2019.
• VMware maintenance and administration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
• NOC/SOC experience, including security.
• Familiarity with 0365 and Azure AD.
• Experience with SNMP monitoring, SolarWinds preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP, IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP
• Expertise with SD-WAN.
