JOB DESCRIPTION
2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE, We are hiring one PART-TIME and one FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE!
Transline Supply Co., an established 20+ year old hobby supply and packaging company, seeks a qualified candidate to join our customer service team and to assist in our purchasing department. The position is part-time (25 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) or full-time (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) in Huntington Beach, California. Pay is dependent on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive inbound calls from customers and address customer service needs.
- Enter and process orders.
- Contact vendors, enter and verify item receipts for purchase orders.
- General office support and database maintenance.
- Inputting new product information and basic data entry tasks.
- Maintain full knowledge of new and existing products.
- Learn the business operations and become a valued member of our team.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years college preferred.
- Professional phone and business etiquette.
- Positive, welcoming, and friendly attitude.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn, self-reliant, task oriented.
- An ability to create, plan, organize, and effectively communicate and write.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM or better and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IS A PLUS!
- Procurement and purchasing, logistics, harmonized codes, import/export.
- Inventory management control, quality control, receiving.
- General bookkeeping, accounting.
Part time hours are 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
Full time hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
