JOB DESCRIPTION
FULL TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Transline Supply Co., an established 20+ year old hobby supply and packaging company, seeks a
qualified candidate to join our customer service team and to assist in our import/export or purchasing
departments. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in
Huntington Beach, California. Salary is dependent on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive inbound calls from customers and address customer service needs.
- Enter and process orders.
- Contact vendors.
- General office support and database maintenance.
- Inputting new product information and basic data entry tasks.
- Maintain full knowledge of new and existing products.
- Learn the business operations and become a valued member of our team.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years college preferred.
- Professional phone and business etiquette.
- Positive, welcoming, and friendly attitude.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn, self-reliant, task oriented.
- An ability to create, plan, organize, and effectively communicate and write.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM or better and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IS A PLUS!
- Procurement, logistics, harmonized codes, import/export
- Bookkeeping, accounting
- Digital photography
- Adobe Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign
- MS Access database development, SQL, Visual Basic
- Google Ads, Paid Search, Google Analytics, or similar analytics apps
- Social Media, Email Marketing
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap
Business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
