Job Description

Transmark Logistics, a leading Pacific Northwest Freight Forwarding/Cartage company has an immediate opening for an Evening Operations Agent for our Portland, OR facility.

·         Starting pay $19.00 - $20.00 DOE

·         Monday- Friday 2nd shift position (10:30am to 6:30pm with flexibility)

·         Open to someone that wants to start their career in freight forwarding, but previous transportation experience is a plus

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

·         Processing, routing, booking, and tracking of US domestic cargo

·         Daily vendor and customer communication to keep cargo moving

·         Data entry using company software, phone and email communication

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Willing to learn new skills and grow within the position

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities; attention to detail

·         Works well under pressure; must be flexible and open to changing priorities and multiple projects

·         Effective follow-through on decisions and operational commitments

·         Good computer/data entry skills

·         A good team player that works well with others and understands the importance of group effort
