What We Want: We are seeking a experienced and self-motivated Fleet and Safety Manager. The ideal candidate must be results driven, dependable, ready to come in and lead the charge to enhance our safety culture. Your responsibilities will include dealing with outside vendors so you must have great negotiation and communication skills. Responsibilities Include: Recruiting, Hiring and Firing New Drivers Maintain and schedule all preventative maintenance Faciliate 90-day B.I.T. Inspections Compliance management of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, State, Local and Company Safety Policies HOS, Including ELD logs Manage/Audit DQ files Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Safety Training meetings Manage Vehicle Accident policies and procedures Pull Notice Programs DOT Drug and Alcohol program and compliance regulations Maintain relationships with vendors ensuring competitive pricing and service expectations are always being met Requirements: 1-3 year minimum Safety and Compliance experience in the Transportation Industry. 1-3 year minimum Management experience ELD Logs and HOS Microsoft Suite
